An intriguing and delicious blend of red & white Garnacha grapes, this is just one of those bottles we couldn't put down. The grapes are from two old vineyards located at the edge of the desert & natural park Bardenas Reales, in the Navarra, Spain. These very old bush vines are grown in an almost wild state and are naturally low yielding, meaning great complexity & concentration in the wine. About half of the white grapes were left as whole bunches, the rest was destemmed & everything was fermented in open vats on the skins for 12 days with very gentle extraction. The free run juices were then aged in amphora & cement until bottling. An incredible bottle both complex & phenolic, vibrant & juicy.
