We just love anything from Le Grange aux Belles, who make wine in Anjou in the Loire, farming 14ha of vines - Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pineau d'Aunis, Gamay, Grolleau and Chenin Blanc.
This wine is from plots of old vines including a parcel planted in 1953, hence the name. It's de-stemmed, with a short (6-8 day) maceration, and aged in fibreglass.
