Previously a carpenter, Jérôme was so inspired by the work and stories of his Grandfather Charles, a viticultural scientist, that at the age of 23 he took over the family plot of 0.2h and started to produce his own wines. He has grown with the help of many local friends, who offered him vineyards to manage and barrels for his cellar. All vineyards if they were not already (he has some of Binner's old parcels) were converted to Biodynamics. This caused a great deal of stress on some of the vines but with time and with the help of Sirius his horse, he is reaping the benefits. At harvest, the fruit is pressed off over a 9 hour period. Strengthening the wine with hyper oxygenation and adding a little more complexity from a tiny amount of skin contact. From the press straight into barrel, where they are left on the gross and fine lees until bottling. The wines are not racked.

Mille Lieux was previously called 'Alsace' and is Jérôme’s experiment in showcasing the entirity of his terroir in one bottle. A blend of 13 varieties from grantite, sandstone and limestone parcels this wine is bursting with energy!

    Unfortunately from time to time wines or ciders may arrive out of condition, usually due to defective closures or any number of possible naturally occurring faults. If you find a bottle where you believe this is the case please contact us immediately.

    You may wish to cancel your order for whatever reason after it arrives. In which case you may do so within 7 working days from receiving the order, provided the bottles are unopened, intact and in their original packaging (which must still be in its original condition). Once the goods are collected and inspected, we will reimburse you for the cost of the product minus a surcharge for collection. If you fail to make the goods available for collection within 14 days of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
