The name Marcel Lapierre is legendary and revered in natural wine circles. Marcel’s father founded the domaine and was among the first in the region to bottle his own wine, showcasing an early pioneering spirit.
Marcel took over in 1973, and by 1981, under the influence of researcher and chemist Jules Chauvet, he and a group of trailblazers, including Jean-Claude "Le Chat" Chanudet, rejected chemical interventions, returning to traditional, artisanal methods. They were early advocates for natural wine, sparking a revolution that continues today.
Since Marcel's passing in 2010, his children, Mathieu and Camille, have upheld their father’s remarkable legacy with determination and passion. The wines from this iconic domaine continue to evolve, reaching new levels of finesse and quality.
The Morgon is a finely crafted wine, displaying a vibrant mid-raspberry hue and delicate extraction. The pure, concentrated fruit from old vines is beautifully enhanced by ten months of aging in casks from Prieuré-Roch in Burgundy. No sulfur was used during the élevage, with only a small amount added at bottling.

In the unlikely event that your product is damaged on arrival or if the wrong product has been delivered to you, please contact us and we will arrange for collection and exchange or reimbursement. We will reimburse you within 14 days from the date you notify us, once the items have been collected, returned to us and inspected.
Unfortunately from time to time wines or ciders may arrive out of condition, usually due to defective closures or any number of possible naturally occurring faults. If you find a bottle where you believe this is the case please contact us immediately.
You may wish to cancel your order for whatever reason after it arrives. In which case you may do so within 7 working days from receiving the order, provided the bottles are unopened, intact and in their original packaging (which must still be in its original condition). Once the goods are collected and inspected, we will reimburse you for the cost of the product minus a surcharge for collection. If you fail to make the goods available for collection within 14 days of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
