Torcuato Huertas makes wine in the Sierra Nevada in Andalucia. He grows 21 grape varieties on just 3 hectares (!) across two plots. Summer days are hot and nights are chilly, with snow being common in winter. Each plot has it's own microclimate too and the wines reflect this- one is more sheltered at 900masl, and the other one is an exposed site higher up at 1050masl.

The Purulio Blanco is made from grapes from the sheltered site, a blend of 10 varieties all vinified together, a week on skins and  aged in old barrels, adding structure & a light orange tone to the wine. It is complex & aromatic with notes of stone fruit & a zesty acidity. Wild & delicious!
