THE WINE

A very straightforward super drinkable fun, clean example of the variety, packed with loads of citrus, pineapple and a hint of floral notes. A wine that can be the perfect first or last bottle of the night.

The grapes were whole bunch crushed and fermented on their skins for 10 days before pressing. The juices then aged in various size of oak barrels from 2400L to 4500L. After 9 months everything gets blended, bottling without any filtration nor addition of sulphur.

THE PEOPLE

Andi Mann is a renowned winemaker from Eckelsheim in Germany's Rheinhessen region, leading Weingut Mann, a family estate established in 1699. After studying economic sciences and oenology at Geisenheim University, Andi embraced organic and biodynamic viticulture, focusing on minimal-intervention methods. His 10-hectare vineyard thrives on diverse soils, including volcanic porphyry and limestone, cultivating varieties like Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, and Spätburgunder. Andi's wines are celebrated for their authenticity and vibrant energy, reflecting a deep respect for nature and terroir.

THE PLACE

Rheinhessen, Germany's largest wine-growing region, is known for its diverse soils and dynamic winemaking. In the southwestern tip, Eckelsheim sits an hour west of Frankfurt, where ancient sea beds have shaped the mineral-rich slopes. Beneath the surface, volcanic porphyry—a silicate-rich granite—adds depth and structure to the wines. This unique terroir supports a range of grape varieties, from Riesling and Silvaner to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, producing wines that balance freshness, minerality, and complexity.
