THE WINE

Named in honour of Oriane's friend Margot, who helped with pressing, GoGo is a brightly-hued Gamay aged in old barrel with no added sulphites.  A juicy and textural gamay that brings something a little more than glou-glou freshness to the table.

THE PEOPLE

After leaving lockdown life in London for the countryside near Toulouse, Oriane Rosner began learning the craft of biodynamic winemaking with Laure and Pierre Fabre at Domaine Gayrard, volunteering in both vineyard and cellar. Her training continued with pruning work in Chinon and Asti before returning to Gayrard, where in 2021 she was offered a small corner of the cellar and a few rows of underused vines—Gamay, Muscadelle, and young Syrah. Though technically a négociant, Oriane farms these clay-limestone plots with care and precision, following biodynamic principles and treating the land as if it were her own.

THE PLACE

Gaillac, located in southwest France near Toulouse, is one of the country’s oldest wine regions, with viticultural roots dating back to Roman times. Known for its diversity, Gaillac produces a wide range of wines, reds, whites, rosés, sparkling, and even sweet, using both international and rare local grape varieties. Indigenous grapes like Duras, Braucol (Fer Servadou), Mauzac, and Loin de l’Œil define the region’s unique identity, offering wines with distinct character and freshness. The varied terroir, including limestone, clay, and gravel soils, combined with a temperate climate, allows for expressive, food-friendly wines that highlight Gaillac’s rustic charm and historic depth.
