THE WINE

A super juicy fruit laden blend of Pineau d'Aunis and a little Grolleau.  Perfect for summer drinking!

THE PEOPLE

Philippe Delmee was a maths teacher who made the move to winemaking in 2006. He now has about 6ha of land across many small parcels around Anjou, all farmed organically. The soil is mostly schist, and the vines are Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Grolleau and a little Pineaud'Aunis.

THE PLACE

The wines of Anjou, in the western Loire Valley, are known for their diversity and vibrant character. The region produces everything from crisp dry whites made from Chenin Blanc to luscious sweet wines and refreshing rosés like Rosé d’Anjou. Red wines, primarily from Cabernet Franc, range from light and fruity to more structured and earthy styles. Anjou’s varied soils—schist, limestone, and clay—contribute to its wide range of expressions, making it a dynamic and versatile wine region.
