THE WINE
Remi's brilliant value red is made of a blend of Syrah, Carignan & Grenache. The Grenache is all whole bunch maceration and the rest is mostly de-stemmed. Brimming with wild, dark fruit it's full of energy and brightness. Ages incredibly well for such a humbly priced wine.
THE PEOPLE
Remi works with two horses on his plots of land near Pezenas. He doesn’t use any inputs to make his wines and has been organic since 2002. A founder member of SAINS he never adds sulphites to his wines and since 2007 he hasn't used sulphur in his vineyards.
THE PLACE
Vineyards have been planted and tended in the Herault since the early Roman occupation of the area. Wines of the Hérault region in France include crisp white wines like Picpoul de Pinet, robust red wines such as those from the Coteaux du Languedoc appellation, and various rosés and other table wines under the Pays d'Oc IGP. The region is known for producing a wide variety of wines with distinct regional character, combining traditional winemaking methods with modern techniques.
In Pezenas the soils are very complex as the source rocks are either derived from mineral limestones of the earth's crust or marine deposits, or basaltic from volcanism (some old extinct volcanoes are nearby).

In the unlikely event that your product is damaged on arrival or if the wrong product has been delivered to you, please contact us and we will arrange for collection and exchange or reimbursement. We will reimburse you within 14 days from the date you notify us, once the items have been collected, returned to us and inspected.
Unfortunately from time to time wines or ciders may arrive out of condition, usually due to defective closures or any number of possible naturally occurring faults. If you find a bottle where you believe this is the case please contact us immediately.
You may wish to cancel your order for whatever reason after it arrives. In which case you may do so within 7 working days from receiving the order, provided the bottles are unopened, intact and in their original packaging (which must still be in its original condition). Once the goods are collected and inspected, we will reimburse you for the cost of the product minus a surcharge for collection. If you fail to make the goods available for collection within 14 days of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
