Tanagra Wine & Guest Farm, nestled near McGregor in South Africa's Western Cape, is a boutique estate renowned for its handcrafted, environmentally friendly wines. Owned by Robert and Anette Rosenbach since 2009, the farm emphasizes minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar. Their small, certified single-vineyard blocks are situated adjacent to the Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve, surrounded by wild fynbos and succulent Karoo, contributing to the wines' distinctive aromatic profiles.

The wines of South Africa’s Western Cape are as diverse as the region’s dramatic landscapes, stretching from coastal vineyards cooled by ocean breezes to inland valleys with sun-drenched slopes. Home to renowned areas like Stellenbosch, Swartland, and Walker Bay, the Western Cape produces a wide range of styles, from elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to bold Syrah and structured Cabernet Sauvignon. Chenin Blanc, the country’s signature white grape, thrives here, often expressed in both fresh and richly textured styles.
