Alessandro is the latest custodian of the lands his family have tended since the early 1900s. He is proud of the traditional methods they keep alive alongside their biodynamic farming, calling himself a shepherd and a farmer rather than a winemaker.
THE PLACE
Sennori is found in north-west Sardinia, nestled between the Gulf of Asinara and the rocky peaks of Anglona and Osilo, from which various valleys, hills and flourishing plateaus branch off. Winemaking has been part of life here since pre-Roman era.
Tenute Dettori are dedicated to presenting the authentic terroir of this oft-overlooked island nurturing local grape varieties that have a true connection and history here.
