Join us for our May monthly wine tasting, where we open a range of bottles to explore a region, style or theme. We'll introduce 5 wines, taste and chat about them together. Some cheese & snacks will be provided, too. The tasting will typically take about 1.5 hours. After the tasting you're welcome to stay for more drinks & nibbles if you'd like (closing 10pm).
For our May tasting we're really excited to welcome back our good friend, Tamsin, from Carte Blanche Wines for the second of a 2 part exploration of Spanish wines. This time we will take a deep dive into Rioja to explore the exciting developments here.
Carte Blanche Wines was founded in 2009, seeking out small independent growers and makers across Spain and France that work with respect for the environment. Their aim has always been to find wines that represent their love of tension, freshness, drinkability and a clear expression of the soil. No manipulations, no make-up, nofuss, just honest hard back-breaking labour and love translated into wine.
